      1. I offer some reviews of places on my blog, but they are mostly in Oregon, i’m really close to the border. The puget sound is the best area to visit though!

      1. Duval Street in the evening and the beach by day.. That’s my routine. Maybe rent a bicycle and tour around the town. There’s lots of neat things to see off the beaten trail. If you’re a Hemingway fan, his house is a museum you can check out. Otherwise just chill and enjoy the island life..

      1. Hah, it’s a pretty kickin’ place! Big enough of a city that there’s always something to do, but it’s still able to keep that “small town” feel to it. You gotta check it out one day!

      1. Philippines will always be my first love – it’s truly a beautiful country (the best beaches, and rich in history) and you’ll meet the nicest people. Singapore is also beautiful in its own way, it’s a different kind of experience for me. Almost everything is efficient, it’s safe, clean and very modern, and not to forget multicultural. You should visit both! πŸ™‚

      1. That’s a very difficult question. Baltimore restaurants have really come a long way since I was a little girl. We have old treasures like the restaurants of Little Italy but now there’s Cindy Wolf’s Charleston, Spike Gjerde’s Woodberry Kitchen, creative Italian at Sotto Sopra and tapas at a table on Charles Street at Tapas Teatro. Crab cakes? I love Bo Brooks. I wrote a half dozen books on Maryland for Frommers so I have eaten at a lot of local restaurants.
